Overall vibe:

A soft, elegant, powdery musk with a cool, almost ethereal quality. Raphael opens with rhubarb, cardamom and pink pepper, giving the fragrance a fresh, subtly spicy lift before iris and violet emerge at the heart. As it settles, white musk, Cashmeran, cedar, vetiver, vanilla and Ambroxan create a warm, smooth skin-like finish.

It smells clean, but not soapy; powdery, but not dusty; warm, but never heavy. There is something almost freshly showered about it, though the cleanliness comes more from the impression of skin, soft clothing and subtle body care than from soap or detergent.

Longevity:

Good to excellent. This is one of the surprising things about Raphael. Despite its soft, intimate character, early wearers are reporting substantially better longevity than they expected. Parfumo currently rates longevity at 7.4/10, and individual wear reports range from around 6–8 hours to claims of 18+ hours on skin.

Projection:

Soft to moderate. Raphael is intended to feel close and personal rather than fill a room. It can have more presence in the opening, but the fragrance settles into an intimate aura that seems to hover around the skin.
