Overall vibe
Juicy raspberry, luminous white flowers and warm amber woods.
Scarlet Sands opens with a bright, tart raspberry and sparkling mandarin, then develops into orange blossom, jasmine and freesia. As it dries, warm amber and creamy vanilla settle over Akigalawood, giving the sweetness a dry, woody edge.
It's fruity and sensual, but not a simple berry gourmand. The contrast between juicy fruit, airy florals and dark woody warmth is what gives Scarlet Sands its personality.
Longevity
Good, with some variation. Community reports range from moderate longevity to 10+ hours, with Parfumo currently rating longevity at 7.5/10. Some wearers find it considerably longer-lasting than others.
Projection
Moderate to strong. The opening can project quite noticeably, although it settles closer to the skin as it develops. There are also reports of much softer performance, so this is one where skin chemistry seems to make a meaningful difference.
When / Where to Wear
Especially good for fall, spring and cooler summer evenings. The raspberry keeps it bright enough for warmer weather, while the amber, vanilla and Akigalawood give it enough depth for evening wear.

If you like Ex Nihilo Lust in Paradise, Scarlet Sands is worth trying. Both have a luminous fruity-floral quality, but Scarlet Sands is warmer, sweeter and much more amber- and vanilla-driven.
If you like Kilian Love, Don't Be Shy, you may enjoy Scarlet Sands. Both have a lush fruity/white-floral sweetness, but Scarlet Sands is darker and woodier, with raspberry and Akigalawood giving it considerably more depth.
If you like Maison Francis Kurkdjian Gentle Fluidity Gold, there is a similar warm, polished sweetness—but Scarlet Sands is much fruitier and more floral.
