FRAGRANCE NOTES "P"

Fragrance notes beginning with P are incredibly diverse, featuring one of the most famous base notes in history (Patchouli) and a massive variety of fruits and spices.

Palmarosa: A grassy, rosy, and citrusy oil that bridges the gap between floral and green.

Palo Santo: A "holy wood" note that is creamy, lemony, and smoky.

Pansy: A soft, powdery, and earthy floral note.

Papyrus: A dry, woody, and leathery note that provides a "paper-like" or ancient library vibe.

Patchouli: A powerhouse earthy, woody, and "dark" note that gets better with age; it is a staple of bohemian and Chypre fragrances.

Peach: A velvety, sweet, and nectar-like fruit note that adds a succulent "fuzzy" texture.

Pear: A crisp, watery, and clean fruit note popular in modern top notes.

Peony: A fresh, rosy, and airy floral note that is often used to add a delicate femininity to spring scents.

Peru Balsam: A warm, sweet, and balsamic resin that smells like a mix of vanilla, cinnamon, and earth.

Petitgrain: Distilled from the leaves and twigs of the bitter orange tree, it is green, woody, and tart.

Pimento (Allspice): A warm, spicy, and clove-like note.

Pineapple: A bright, tropical, and acidic note.

Pink Pepper: Unlike black pepper, this is bright, rosy, and sparkling; it provides an "effervescent" opening to perfumes.

Pistachio: A nutty, creamy, and slightly green gourmand note.

Plum: A dark, jammy, and syrupy fruit note used for depth in "noir" or evening perfumes.

Praline: A toasted sugar and nut note used to create "addictive" sweetness.
