DISCOVER FRAGRANCE NOTES

Contained in the following pages are definitions of the notes that the creator intended to be identified in the fragrance.  These notes do not necessarily represent the actual ingredients but are merely the way in which the creator wished to convey a scent, idea, or imagery.

Notes are subjective to each individual. They require individual skin chemistry as well as our own cognitive perception for interpretation.  This simply means that how a fragrance smells when sprayed on one person is not the same as the way it will smell on everyone.

Our interpretation and acceptance of a fragrance or its individual note is also bound by our experiences and perceptions of those notes.  If we were put off by rose at some point in our fragrance journey, it may be difficult for our mind to accept the scent as attractive even if the scents differ in quantity or quality.

There is new evidence to establish that everyone has, whether they are aware or not, been on a scent journey since they were in utero.  I've linked an interesting article below.  What that also tells us is that even when unaware of the importance to us, scents affected our perceptions and experiences and shaped our reactions from our beginnings.
