FRAGRANCE NOTES "B"

Fragrance notes beginning with B are heavy on warmth, balsamic resins, and bright, refreshing citruses.


Balsamic: refers to fragrance notes that have a warm, resinous, and often slightly sweet aroma, reminiscent of balsamic resins. These notes can include ingredients like benzoin, myrrh, or Peru balsam. Balsamic notes add depth, richness, and a comforting quality to fragrances.

Bamboo: A subtle, clean and green leafy scent. It is fresh and watery with a hint of citrus.

Basil: Basil's scent is aromatic and refreshing, with slightly spicy and sweet tones. It's a combination of anise, green, and licorice notes.

Beeswax: A sweet, honey-like animalic note that adds a waxy, warm texture to the heart or base of a perfume

Benzoin: a resin derived from the bark of several species of trees. It has a rich, warm, and sweet vanilla-like scent with hints of balsamic and amber. Benzoin is commonly used as a base note in perfumery to add depth, warmth, and a resinous quality to fragrances.

Bergamot: a citrus fruit with a vibrant, fresh, and slightly bitter scent. In perfumery, bergamot is often used as a top note to provide a bright and uplifting opening to fragrances. It adds a sparkling, citrusy, and aromatic quality to scent compositions.

Birch / Birch Tar: Known for its smoky, leathery, and woody profile, often used to create "leather" accords in perfumery

Black Cherry: A rich, juicy, and plump black cherry. Black cherry explores the luscious sensuality of the fruit—a bold and irresistible temptation.

Blackcurrant: a fruit note used in perfumery to provide a tart, fruity, and slightly sweet aroma. It adds a vibrant, juicy, and refreshing quality to fragrances. Blackcurrant can be used as both a top note and a middle note, depending on the desired effect in the fragrance composition.

Black Pepper: Black Pepper is fresh, woody, and dry. It brings fresh, delicate, and spicy notes to 'masculine' and floral fragrance compositions.

Black Tea: Black tea has dry leafy and smoky notes. It brings freshness and long-lasting spicy notes to a fragrance and adds a woody dimension.

Bourbon: Bourbon is a combination of honeyed vanilla, caramel, and butterscotch. A sweet gourmand with nuanced dark fruits, citrus, and delicate floral aroma.

Brown Sugar: Brown Sugar is warm and balsamic, intensified by roasted tones reminiscent of maple syrup.
